Description

Excellent Career Opportunity for an Experienced Site/Operations Manager to take on Operational Responsibility for a GMP/GLP Compliant Compact Manufacturing Unit, for a Division of a Global Leader in the Speciality Biosciences, (Radiopharmaceuticals), Sector

ROLE

  • Manage Site Operations to Comply with UK Licensing Regulations (Health and Safety Requirements, MHRA and EA Licenses)
  • Consistent Achievement of High Quality and Reliable Service, with Full Customer Satisfaction Performance Targets and Without Excessive Financial and Other Penalties
  • Consistent Achievement of Operational and Capital Budget Results
  • Ongoing Continuous Professional Development to Achieve Full Awareness and Technical Knowledge of All Current Legislation and Scientific Development, Associated with production of Radiopharmaceuticals
  • Direct and Indirect Reports Comprehensive Training and Development, Ensuring Ability to Perform Tasks Assigned
  • Effective Team Management to Ensure High Levels of Employee Engagement, Retention and Performance
  • Maintenance and Monitoring of Equipment and Facilities to Maintain a Constant State of Operational Readiness, Including Timely Replacement and Onboarding of New Equipment
  • Management of Sub-Contractors to Provide a High-Quality Service in Conformance with Contractual Service Agreements
  • Contribution to Company Strategy
  • Sales Support to Business Development Activities, if Required

REQUIRED (Essential)

  • Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Site Management Experience
  • Quality-Minded Focus and Quality Management Systems Experience
  • Demonstrable Working Knowledge of MHRA Guidelines
  • High Levels of Commitment to Customer Service
  • Leadership, Staff Management and Motivation Skills
  • Performance Tracking and Trending Expertise
  • Strong Project Management Experience
  • Substantial Business Planning and Budgetary Management Experience
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

REQUIRED (Preferred)  

  • Degree Level Qualification in Chemistry or Engineering
  • 5 Years’ Experience of Radiopharmaceuticals Manufacturing
  • Working Knowledge of the EA Licensing Process
