Description
Established and Highly Successful Company, Specialising in the Manufacture of Bespoke Engineered Products, Serving a Range of Industry Sectors, are Seeking to Recruit a H&S Manager to Join an Expanding Group of Professionals at their Kent Based HQ
Reporting to the CEO, the Successful Candidate will Support and Develop the H&S Function in Line with Business Objectives and be Responsible for All Areas of the Organisation’s H&S
ROLE
- Provide H&S Direction to the Management Team and Support Management to Improve the H&S Performance and Culture
- Ensure H&S Best Practices, Policies and Adherence to Procedures
- Routine Review of Regulatory Legislation
- Ensure All Documentation is Maintained in Compliance with H&S Best Practise
- Chair H&S committee Meetings and Lead by Example in All Aspects of H&S
- Liaise with External Stakeholders eg Customers, Enforcement Bodies, Insurance Inspectors etc on H&S Matters
- Ensure All Staff Receive Sufficient H&S Training to Enable Safe and Efficient Activities
- Develop and Manage H&S Budgets to Ensure Appropriate Investment in H&S Activities and Improvements
REQUIRED (Essential)
- Hold Professional Qualifications, Ideally NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Strong Leadership Skills to Guide, Support and Motivate Staff
- Solid Understanding of the Key Principals of H&S Legislation
- Proficient IT Skills with Strong Practical Knowledge of MS Office Suite
REQUIRED (Preferable)
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience in an H&S Professional Role
- Experience of Working in an ISO9001 Accredited Manufacturing Engineering Organisation
- Experience of Working within an ISO18001/45001 H&S Management System
REMUNERATION
- £45K, Subject to Qualifications and Experience
