Exceptional Career Opportunity within an International Organisation, Engaged in the PCB Test and Assembly Sector.  This is a Key Client Facing Role

Reporting to the Service and Support Manager the Support Engineer will Fulfil an Integral and Important Part of the Client Liaison and Support Team.  Primarily Based Close to Tonbridge, with Regular Business Travel Within the UK and Occasional Travel Overseas

ROLE

  • Become a Technical Expert on the Company’s Products and Services, Including Operation, Applications and Competitive Positioning
  • Assist the Test and Assembly Business Division Manager in Supporting the Sales Team by Providing Technical Support for Relevant Software Products, Including Demonstrations, Presentations, Attendance at Seminars and Conferences, and Exhibitions
  • Define and Prepare Technical Material for Presentations in Collaboration with the Sales Team
  • Provide Client Training on Operation, Applications and Techniques in Collaboration with the Sales Team
  • Data Preparation and Testing of Client Products as Part of the Test Services
  • Presenting Solutions to Prospective Clients
  • Establish, Maintain and Develop Positive and Productive Relationships with Clients and Suppliers
  • Commissioning and Training of Clients on Supplied Software at Client Locations

REQUIRED

  • Appropriate Qualifications, Preferred Minimum HNC/HND and a Minimum of 5 Years’ Industrial Experience in a Similar Role
  • Smart, Professional Image
  • Commercially Astute
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Written, Spoken and Presentation
  • Effective Colleague, Client and Supplier Interface Skills
  • Flexibility and Willingness to Accommodate Regular Travel within the UK and Elsewhere, Including Associated Overnight Stays
  • Detail Orientated, Thorough Record Keeping and IT Literate
  • Highly Organised with Excellent Time Management Skills

REMUNERATION

  • £30K, Subject to Qualifications and Experience, Plus Benefits
