Well Established, Successful, Privately Owned, Engineering Company who Design, Fabricate, Install and Commission, Large Capital Projects within the Metal Processing Sector are Seeking to Add a Manufacturing Manager to Compliment the Leadership Team

Working in a Highly Conducive, Pleasant and Rewarding Environment the Successful Applicant will Join a Professional Team of Engineers, Involved in Innovative Science and Engineering

ROLE

  • Direction and Daily Management of the Manufacturing Team for Large Engineering Capital Expenditure Equipment, from Project Concept through to Customer Commissioning
  • Applying Significant Manufacturing Industrial Technical Knowledge, within the Areas of High-Pressure Gas, Water Cooling, Induction Heating and Vacuum Engineering Disciplines
  • Managing and Motivating Manufacturing Team Members by Closely Coordinating Day to Day Activities of the Shop Floor Area
  • Deliver Projects According to Agreed Budget Costs and Agreed Lead Times
  • Working Closely with the Design Engineering Manager in Reviewing Design, Processes and Practices
  • Managing a Team of System Engineers and Sub-Contractors to Deliver Large CAPEX Systems in Accordance to Agreed Delivery/Completion Schedules
  • Clear Concise, Coordinated Disciplined Leadership Approach to the Company’s Current and Future Objectives
  • Conferring Concisely with Directors and Other Senior Management Members on Defined Objectives and Project Status
  • Domestic and Overseas Travel to Clients and Suppliers and Contractors, as Necessary

REQUIRED

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree Qualifications
  • 10 Years Industrial Experience in Large Scale Industrial/Scientific Equipment Manufacturing (Metal Melting Processes, Vacuum or Oil and Gas Systems are Preferred)
  • Proven Engineering Practical Mentality with Direct Hands-On Experience
  • Ability to Understand, Interpret and Apply Safe Engineering Practices Within the Manufacturing Area
  • Understanding and Application of Cost/Design Engineering Management Process Tools
  • Concise, Coordinated, Disciplined, Leadership Skills, Including Sub-Contractors and Site/Services Installation
  • Positive ‘Can Do’ Approach
